Composed from source metadata

What does this dataset contain?

Greenhouse gas emissions by source sector. Time frequency · Unit of measure · Air pollutants and greenhouse gases · Source sectors for greenhouse gas emissions (Common reporting format, UNFCCC) · Geopolitical entity (reporting) · Time. See the Eurostat source for definitions, units and methodological notes.

Compare coverage, period and units with your question. Visit the source for definitions and a complete download; a sample is not a full analysis.

No table preview available

Previews are restricted to approved, bounded CSV and JSON sources with suitable reuse rights. The original source is still available.

The bounded source extract contains no rows.

Dates, explained separately

A reachable link does not imply a content review.

Limitations & considerations

Preview is a filtered extract of the five latest time positions, not the entire dataset or its complete time coverage. Eurostat reuse exceptions apply, including some third-party and non-European data. Check units before comparing values.

Agricultural land (% of land area)

Agricultural land refers to the share of land area that is arable, under permanent crops, and under permanent pastures. Arable land includes land defined by the FAO as land under temporary crops (double-cropped areas are counted once), temporary meadows for mowing or for pasture, land under market or kitchen gardens, and land temporarily fallow. Land abandoned as a result of shifting cultivation is excluded. Land under permanent crops is land cultivated with crops that occupy the land for long periods and need not be replanted after each harvest, such as cocoa, coffee, and rubber. This category includes land under flowering shrubs, fruit trees, nut trees, and vines, but excludes land under trees grown for wood or timber. Permanent pasture is land used for five or more years for forage, including natural and cultivated crops.
